A third anti-corruption protest takes place in front of the Maltese Parliament in the span of one week. Melvin Theuma, the alleged middleman, is granted a presidential pardon in exchange for information on Daphne Caruana Galizia’s murder. Rows of steel barricades are erected outside Parliament and there was heavy police presence. Protestors braved the wind and rain, threw fake banknotes and coins at Joseph Muscat and Labour MPs as they exited Parliament.
